Zozodo Gemstone Consultancy and Mining Limited Company (ZGC) is a fully Malawian owned and registered company that focuses on provision of services such as Mining consultation, GIS consultation, Gemology and Lapidary services and many more. ZGC has its head offices in Mzimba District but works across the country of Malawi providing its services to its clients.

Zozodo Gemstone Consultancy and mining limited Company was found in 2018 by Mr john
Vasco Chidule and with a small team of Geologists. Mr John Vasco recognized the gap in the
mining sector in Malawi which he took it as an oppotuinty to bring forth solutions by providing
specialized counslting services focused on Gemstone within the mining industry in Malawi. The
Company was orinally named Zozodo Gemstone Consultancy and operated out of Mr Chidule’s
home office for the first year ( June, 2018 to June, 2019) Zozodo is a native Tumbuka word
which means,” The great Master Piece that aims at greatness”.
In the second year of operation ( June 2019 to June 2020), the team took on several small
consulting projects, assessing potential gemstone reserves as well as value addition. Based on
positive feedback and growing demand, Mr Chidule together with the team, planned to register
the compnay as a private limited.
In the thrid year of operation (June 2020 to June2021), new members joined the company who
are now Co-founders of the company. The team worked tierlessly with Mr chidule to make the
company registred and finally it got registred. These co-founders are; Miss Faith Makwera, and
Mr Emmanuel Phiri.
The company was registerd as limitedcompany by the name of Zozodo Gemstone Consulancy
and Mining limited Company (ZGC) and now it operates using this name.
In additional to consultation services that the company was intially oferring, the company does
its own mining works, gemstone value additon and jewelry production. This is to boost the cash
flow of the company and support its growth.
Currently the company as six senior staff members, and a number of junior staff members
working in the mining fieds of the company and at the office.

John Vasco Chidule
Founder, CEO
John Vasco Chidule is a professional Geologist, with a degree in Geology from Malawi
Universty of Science and Technology (MUST). Mr Chidule has 5 years experince in mining
sector. He is also an entreprenuer, holiding a certificate in enterprenuership from Tradeline
Cooperation. He has vasty expe rince in business and he has operated a number of small scale
and medium scale businesses.
Mr chidule is natuarlly a leader, who is Innovative, Determined, Hardworking, Goal oriantated,
Vissionary and Team spirit.
Emmanuel Theophilus Phiri
Co-founder, ICT Manager / Digital designer
Mr Emmanuel Phiri is a final year student at Malawi University of Science and Technology
(MUST) studying Petroleum Geoscience. He holds 4, years of experience in self-taught web
development and prototype designing. He bring an analytic and creative skillset to his technical
role.

Faith Makwera
Co-founder, Marketing Manager
Miss Faith Makwera is final year student at Malawi University of Science and Technology
(MUST), studying Earth Sciences. She holds online Entrepreneurship certificates and has 5 years
working experience in the field entrepreneurship.
She is known as hardworking, organized and determined in her approach.
Alick Sinoya
Mining Engineer and GIS expert
Mr Alick Sinoya is a professional mining engineer from Malawi University of Business and
Science. He is well known in the field of mining involving engineering works, he is a mine
designer, site planner with 4 years experience.
Mr Alick is a hardworking, critical thinker, organized and visionary

Researcher
He leverages his background as a geologist from MUST and 4 years of applicable experience. His tireless work ethic combines with a gift and visionary in his managing approach.
He is known for his hardworking, unique research skill set, organized and team spirit
Isaac Kapakasa
Field Managing Geologist
Mr Isaac Mwale is well known for his geological field experince. He is a profeshional geolostist
with a degree in geology obatained at Malawi Universty of Science and Technolgy (MUST) he
has 4 years experince in mining operations and management.
